Japp, så satt man i skolan igen. Håller på och redigerar om en liten novell som vi skrivit i engelskan. Novellskrivande bra, att den är på engelska: dåligt. Det blir lite annorlunda att skriva på engelska än på svenska. Men det gick och därför tänkte jag bjuda på den! 

“I’m really nervous. Is she coming? She said she would. What is the time? 10.25, its okay, five minutes left. God, I hope she likes it!”

 

 

2 days earlier

 

-         Now it’s only two days left to our anniversary. I’ve planned the whole thing! First she will meat me…

-         Please! I don’t want to hear! You’ve nagged about that in a week now, it’s enough!

Steve and his friend Ben are sitting in the school’s dinning hall and are having a conversation about Steve and his girlfriend Lisa.

-         What? I haven’t talked about it that much, have I?

-         Yes you have, can we talk about something else now please?

-         Sure, what do you want to talk about?

-         I don’t know. Boy stuff like sports or cars or something.

And the conversation went on.

 

Lisa and Steve are having there one year anniversary in two days and Steve is very excited. He has planned to have dinner with her, but in the forest. And on the menu: pizza!

Lisa is very excited to. She knows that Steve has planned something but she don’t know what.

 

The main day is coming up and Steve is know taking a walk in the forest where he and Lisa will spend there one-year-night together. He thinks that he can have a blanket were they can sit, that little table he has at home would be perfect to pace the pizza on, in this tree he can hang a lantern, and some more small lanterns at the way here. It will be perfect!

“Now I just need to get home, fetch the stuff, get dressed and get back here.” He thought for himself.

 

About an hour later he was back, all dressed up and had placed the lanterns all the way to the place where they are going to eat. He had said to Lisa that she was supposed to get well dressed and meet him at the end of the forest at 10.30 to night.

He looks at his watch, 9.56. He doesn’t have much time left. He places the blanket on the ground and hangs up the rest of the lanterns. To be honest, he was very nervous.

He had 34 minutes until she was there, waiting for him, and he hadn’t fetched the pizza yet. He runs down trough the forest again. The pizza guy, Pedro said he would be waiting outside the shop when he was done with the pizza. Steve is getting closer and sees Pedro

-         You’re late you charming boy! Better hurry! Pedro yells at Steve.

-         I know, and it’s starting to get dark and I haven’t lightened the candles yet! He yells back. He takes the pizza and runs back to the forest.

-         Thank you again Pedro!

Pedro laughs’.

-         Anytime my friend!

 

At the way back Steve lightens all the candles. He places the box with the pizza on the little table. He looks at his watch, 10.15.

Now it is just the last candles left, then he is done! He separate the blanket from a few leaves that had fallen on it. Now he runs back to the place where he would meat Lisa.

At 10.21 he arrives there and has a little time to catch his breath.

 

 

“I’m really nervous. Is she coming? She said she would. What is the time? 10.25, its okay, five minutes left. God, I hope she likes it!”

His thoughts are running through his mind and he can’t stand still. Then out of the darkness, he sees a girl how walk towards him. She has a purple dress and black tights on her. The dress is without shoulder straps and her beautiful décolletage and neck shines in the moon light.

He smiles wide and walks towards her.

-         You’re beautiful like a dream. He says and she smiles back at him.

-         You must be the most thoughtful person in the whole world. She answers and they kiss.

Steve feels a total happiness when he put his arms around her. She is the one for him, he knows it!

-         I was a little afraid that you wouldn’t come. He says quietly.

-         Are you kidding? Now way I would! She answers.

-         Come. Steve says and takes Lisa’s hand and starts to walk in to the forest.

They walk in silence. Lisa looks at all the candles with her mouth open and catches her breath. When they arrive to the blanket and the little table with the pizza she finally says something.

-         Have you done all this?

-         Yes I have, just for you and me, baby.

He pulls her close to him and gives her another kiss. She puts her arms around his neck and kisses him back.

- You are adorable. She whispers and Steve 

- I’m nothing but a mortal guy who has totally falling in love with you.

- Poor you, she says and they laugh.

 

They sit down and eat there pizza. Suddenly they hear a sound next to them. Up in the tree they see a little squirrel family who is looking down at Steve and Lisa.

-         It seems that we have got some neighbours, Steve says and they both laugh.

 

They sit there very long and enjoy the pizza and the feeling of each others present.
